THE BIBLE - The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God: written by the Holy men of old as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. II Peter 1:20-21.
ONE GOD - There is one God who is infinite in power, Holy in nature, attributes and purpose: omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. We believe that He was revealed to us: the Father in creation, the Son in redemption and the Holy Spirit in His comforting grace that never leaves those who trust in Him. I Corinthians. 8:6; Eph. 4:6; II Corinthians. 3:17, 5:19
JESUS CHRIST - In Jesus Christ dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; for it pleased the Father that in Him should all the fullness dwell. Col. 2:9; Col. 1:19. In the virgin birth; Jesus was both human and divine. God manifest in the flesh.. St. Matt. 1:23; I Tim. 3:16.
HIS SACRIFICIAL LOVE - We believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. We believe that He ascended on high and has sent His Spirit, the Holy Ghost, which was poured out at Jerusalem over 2000 years ago, and is still filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him today. Acts 2:14.
WATER BAPTISM - We believe in water baptism (by immersion) in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This constitutes the new birth. Acts 2:4, 38.
WE ALSO BELIEVE...
...in water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the literal fulfillment of the command of Jesus to His disciples to baptize converts in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5
...that repentance from the heart should accompany baptism. John the Baptist preached repentance. Jesus proclaimed it and commanded that repentance and remission of sins be preached in His name among all nations. Luke 24:47
...that the Lord's Supper is one of the great sacraments of the Church. Melchisedec, the priest of the Most High God, gave the first Communion to Abraham, consisting of bread and wine. Christ, being a High Priest "after the order of Melchisedec," evidently administered the same. Genesis 14:18; Hebrews 6:20; Matthew 26:16-29
...in the second coming of the Lord, when He will make a change in the present order of this world, and that the dead in Christ shall rise and we who are alive at the time will be "caught up to meet the Lord in the air." 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58
...that those who have truly received Christ, and have been born again, will be filled with the Holy Ghost with the initial signs following as on the day of Pentecost. Acts 2:1-4; 10:45-56; 19:6
WORSHIP EXPERIENCE
Our church services can be an entirely new experience for a first-time visitor. Our worship services are full of energy and excitement as we give praise and glory back to God.
We Play Musical Instruments
...because in the Bible we read, "...and all the house of Israel played before the Lord on all manner of instruments..." (II Samuel 6:5)
We Clap and Shout Unto God
...because in the Bible we read, "...o clap your hands all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph." (Psalms 47:1)
We Lift Our Hands In Praise
...because in the Bible we read, "Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord." (Psalms 134:2)
We Sing with All Our Hearts
...because in the Bible we read, "Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise." (Psalms 98:4)
We Pray Together Out Loud
...because in the Bible we read, "...they lifted up their voices to God with one accord..." (Acts 4:24)
